Today was my day off. Cleaned most of the house, placed a mountain of laundry in the corner of bedroom as a hopeful “still to do” motivator for tomorrow, made my kids dinner, watched “the naked Archaeologist” on the History channel and then wrote 2000 words. more scribbling

Well, I told my girls that they had earned a movie for good grades/schoolwork. I expected them to pick The Inspector General or Johnny English. Instead they begged me to watch The Merchant of Venice (Al Pacino as Shylock). Last week they asked to watch Carmen again. (Domingo as Don Jose) Yes!
