more holiday cheer

Just finished up sukkot and I must say- not a bad time at all- even though it was three days long. My sister-in-law and her new hubby (the ones just recently married) came down and we had a very pleasant time.  My kids and I had designed our sukkah (temporary hut with leafy covering which we eat in for a week). I bought and sewed together sheets of  white canvas and we each picked a wall and illustrated our favorite biblical scene. My youngest did Jonah and the whale, my middle did Miriam and baby Moses in the basket, my eldest did  Eve and the snake and apple, and I did Joseph and his brothers in the Egyptian court, before Joseph has revealed himself. I will post pictures later.

Also my sister-in -law read my MS which totally freaked me out. I really don’t know why. She makes the eleventh beta-reader so I should be used to it by now. (I’m not counting the friend who took my MS three months ago and then never read it or referred to it again. That is a whole new level of ouch)
Maybe it was because I was actually there while she read it. I really need to calm down about this- but the waiting for news is making me a little crazy.
